Sweat4Good 2025: Year 3 of Changing Lives with Exercise

A Legacy of Hope in Lima, Peru

In 2009, Delivering Better Lives joined hands with the American Embassy in Peru to bring dignity and comfort to families traveling from remote areas to Lima for cancer treatment. Many arrived with nothing, no place to stay, no support, facing their hardest battle alone.

Together, we helped ALDIMI Cancer Hospice acquire a permanent home near the country's only cancer hospital, a sanctuary of rest, care, and hope. For over a decade, this house has opened its doors to children and families in their most fragile moments, offering warmth and compassion when it’s needed most.

Today, ALDIMI is expanding with a new, larger facility equipped with modern technology to serve an even greater number of children in need. Yet, they will continue to preserve the original home we helped secure, the one closest to the hospital, because it represents the heart of this mission.

This year, our CEO & Chairman, Daniel Grimes, once again begins his 30-day Sweat4Good Challenge, in partnership with and with the generous support of Sweat440 Sobe. We invite you to join him. Your contribution will help renovate and re-equip the kitchen of the original hospice , a space that nourishes both body and spirit for families facing unimaginable challenges.

From that first project in 2009 to today, Delivering Better Lives has stood beside ALDIMI and the children they serve. Together, we can ensure that the house that once gave hope continues to do so, brighter, stronger, and better than ever before.

Join us. Stay active. Give generously. Help us deliver better lives once again.
